16th International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR), Baltimore

The production of scientific posters and handouts for the pharmaceutical industry is a job for the experts, demanding a combination of the highest levels of professionalism and technical expertise: this is particularly so in the case of scientific poster production to demonstrate and communicate the real value of healthcare products through high quality and innovative outcomes research and communications. The Cinnamon Agency understands this, and has had a wealth of experience working with some of the industry’s foremost outcomes research companies and major pharmaceutical brands at conferences and events throughout the world.

The Cinnamon Agency, working in conjunction with Mapi Values, recently produced a scientific posters and conference handouts  for our client Roche Avastin for the 16th International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) conference on Health Care Reform and Comparative Effectiveness Research  on 21/25 May, 2011 in Baltimore, USA. Roche Pharmaceuticals, based in Welwyn Garden City, is one of the world’s leading producers of is one of the world’s leading producers of cancer-specific therapies, like Avastin, and works in conjunction with oncology experts, healthcare professionals and patients to develop products that specifically target multiple aspects of the disease process, whilst working in combination with established standard therapies.

Our brief, in conjunction with Mapi Values, was to produce a scientific poster and conference handouts for our client, Roche Avastin, to draw attention to the new health and outcomes research (HEOR) work they were doing in the field of metastatic colorectal, breast, lung cancer and, in combination with interferon alpha, advanced renal cell cancer. The research looked at the cost-effectiveness and proven outcomes of treating such diseases with proprietary medicines like Avastin (Bevacizumab). At the ISPOR Conference, experts discussed the current state of health care and some of the proposed worldwide changes and how these might impact on the prevention and treatment of cancer in years to come. The aim of the conference was to determine what lessons could be learned from older comparative effectiveness research and utilised in both the present and the future.

All of the posters and handouts for the conference were produced and printed in the USA. The Cinnamon Agency always sources its print locally in line with our green policy and credentials. We believe this policy helps both our client and the planet by cutting down on unnecessary shipping costs and transportation.
